WHEREAS, House Bill 1933 and Senate 1370 amend ~ec.
Florida Statutes, relating to the Marine Fisheries Commission, by
increasing the membership of the commission from seven to nine
members and providing for selection of members from certain
interest groups, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, agree with these improvements to the Marine Fisheries
Commission, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Board hereby supports House Bill 1370 and Senate
Bill 1370 relating to the Marine Fisheries Commission.
2. The Clerk of the Board is hereby instructed to send a
copy of this Resolution to the legislative delegation of Monroe
County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the ~H, day of 4rt-; L, A.D. 1990.
