RESOLUTION NO. 606-1990
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 345-1989
WHICH AMENDED THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE
PLANNING DEPARTMENT AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL
RESOURCES DEPARTMENT IN ORDER TO SUSPEND THE
ESTABLISHED FEE FOR THE REVIEW OF TRAFFIC
STUDIES AND TO ESTABLISH A FLAT FEE OF $100
(ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS) FOR ANY DEVELOPMENT
APPLICATION THAT WILL GENERATE MORE THAN 10
(TEN) TRIPS PER DAY TO OFFSET THE ADMINISTRA-
TIVE COST OF THE REVIEW SERVICE PROVIDED.
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Board of Commissioners
wishes to provide the citizens of Monroe County with
service in the most cost effective and reasonable manner;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to charge a fair and equita-
ble fee for the service of reviewing traffic studies sub-
mitted to the County during development review; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has demonstrated
that the following is a reasonable and equitable fee for
the services to be provided;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT:
A fee of $100 shall be assessed for any review of traffic
studies and/or for the computation of trips which would be gener-
ated by approved development for concurrency purposes, the $100
fee assessment requirement shall be effective immediately upon
the passage of this resolution.

The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to forward a
certified copy of this resolution to the Florida Department of
Community Affairs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Floridaj at a regular meeting of said Board held
