AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Discussion and direction regarding a request from 6 homeowners
on Big Torch Key who have asked that they be included in the Cudjoe Regional Wastewater
System's collection system.
ITEM BACKGROUND: It has been brought to my attention, by request, from 6 homeowners on
Big Torch Key that they should have been, in their opinion, included in the Big Torch Key Cudjoe
Regional Wastewater Central Collection project initially. FKAA is preparing to bring and install
potable water infrastructure to their homes and they, the homeowners, would prefer having the
proven and the reliable E1 grinder pumps installed on site to provide a higher level of treatment to
their wastewater.
