ITEM BACKGROUND: The following member(s) of CCAC, Vicki Boguszewski and Lisa Kaul,
requested support to attend the 9th Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit.
Staff has found that this serves a public purpose and requests authorization the designees to be
reimbursed for those reasonable and necessary expenses of attendance at the summit in accordance
with Monroe County Code section 2 -209 through section 2 -112, inclusive.

A RESOLUTION BY THE MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF
OF DESIGNATED CCAC MEMBERS FOR ATTENDANCE AT THE 9T"
ANNUAL SOUTHEAST FLORIDA CLIMATE LEADERSHIP SUMMIT.

WHEREAS, the CCAC is tasked with making recommendations,
providing suggestions, and advising the County Commission regarding appropriate
mitigation and adaptation polices needed to address climate change; and
WHEREAS, the 9th Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate
Leadership Summit is being held at the Broward County Convention Center; and
to the Climate Leadership Summit would serve a public purpose
