PROJECT APPROACH Project Understanding The current system in EYW consists of a single Reveal CT80 in a simplified - mini inline configuration fed by two ticket counter belts. Both ticket counter feeds are labeled OBI. The west feed contains OBI - I through 013I -8 and the Eastfeed contains 013I -9 through 013I -15. 013I -8 merges onto OBI -16 which continues to OBI -18 before being pushed on to a roller conveyor that feeds the CT80. Bags are manually pushed forward into the CT80 for screening and screened bags are fed onto a roller conveyor by the CT80. Alarm bags are held in the exit tunnel and need to be released onto the roller conveyor deliberately by the TSA to be removed for hand search. Clear bags from the EDS have to be lifted and placed on the 0132 line to be conveyed to the single sortation carousel. In this configuration, the BHS only needs four bags per load point to cascade back to the ticket counter. Die back will happen frequently when there is one bag on the search table and one suspect bag being held in the Reveal Exit Tunnel. It is understood that this is a common occurrence. JW1 J. A.
