Change Advisory Committee as replacement for Perry Johnston who recently resigned.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Caroline Horn has been the administrator for Fair Insurance Rates in
Monroe (FIRM) since December 2015. In that position, Caroline is focused on the economic impact
of climate change and sea level rise as it related to flood and windstorm insurance rates on the
property owners and residents of Monroe County. Among other responsibilities, Ms. Horn organizes
mitigation methods, and re-building with resiliency in mind. Caroline is a member of the Monroe
County Local Mitigation Strategy Committee, Citizens Climate Lobby, and Florida Keys GLEE.
