ITEM BACKGROUND: This modification extends the time frame from 30 days to 60 days for Task#3 (right of entry (ROE) acquisition). As a result, the completion of Task#7 (Final Inspection) is also extended from 90 days to 120 days after execution of the grant agreement. Mayor Rice has already executed the agreement under the emergency authority and staff now seeks BOCC ratification. The executed original has been sent to Tallahassee for execution by FDEM. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: On 27 October 2017, Mayor Neugent executed the initial agreement and the Florida Division of Emergency Management executed it on 30 October 2017. At its regular November 2017 meeting, the BOCC ratified the agreement.
