ITEM BACKGROUND: In accordance with Monroe County Code Sections 11-171 et seq. a
public hearing is requested to be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 3:00 pm to consider an
application from Rapid Response Medical Transportation, 8350 W. SR 84, Davie, FL 33324 for
an initial Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (COPCN) Class A and Class B for ALS
and BLS transport in the zones of Key West & Adjunct Keys; Islamorada; Key Largo and Marathon.
