AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to remove surplus equipment from inventory via disposal
or advertise for bid.
ITEM BACKGROUND: F.S. 274.05-274.07 and Monroe County Purchasing Policy state that the
Board of County Commissioners shall approve the disposal of items that have been declared to be
surplus by the Property Manager within the office of the Clerk of the Courts. Each of the items on
the attached list has been certified by its department to be of no value. Once disposal is approved, the
items will be removed from the Fixed Asset Inventory List.
