AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Authorize entering an amendment No. 2 to a contract with WSP
USA, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $22,235 to provide additional professional consulting services
to assist the County with technical review of the survey data being provided by the LiDAR vendor.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
mobile LiDAR vendor. The submission of the mobile LiDAR data from the vendor has been
extended by several months due to Hurricane Irma and unforeseen issues with the equipment
performing the surveys. Due to these delays a more extensive review of the survey data is required
by WSP. This amendment No. 2 authorizes additional funds to ensure the accuracy and quality of the
mobile LiDAR data being provided to the County
.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
08/17/16: Authorize a contract with Parsons Engineering, Inc. in an amount not to exceed
$33,680.00 to provide professional consulting services to assist the County with evaluating our
LiDAR elevation data mapping needs and preparing a solicitation for LiDAR elevation data.
08/16/2017: Authorize entering an amendment No. 1 to a contract with Parsons Engineering, Inc. in
an amount not to exceed $22,235 to provide additional professional consulting services to assist the
County with technical negotiations of the mobile LiDAR services contract and to review the survey
data to be provided by the LiDAR vendor.
