RESOLUTION NO. 031 -2019
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF FIRE
AND AMBULANCE DISTRICT 1, MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA ELECTING A CHAIRPERSON AND VICE-
CHAIRPERSON.
WHEREAS, Section 1.b) of Ordinance No. 045-1988 provides that the Chairperson and
Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1 shall be elected by
the District Governing Board for a one year term which may be successive; and
WHEREAS, on January 17, 2018, the Board of Governors adopted Resolution No. 024-
2018 electing George Neugent as Chairperson and David Rice as Vice-Chairperson; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary for the members of the Board of Governors of Fire
and Ambulance District 1 to elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for 2019;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF
FIRE AND AMBULANCE DISTRICT 1,MONROE COUNTY,FLORIDA:
Section 1. Bruce Halle is hereby elected as Chairperson of the Board
of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1 of Monroe County, Florida.
Section 2. Greg Lewis is hereby elected as Vice-Chairperson of the
Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1 of Monroe County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1
of Monroe County, Florida at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 23rd day of January,
