A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE MILLAGE RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners, Monroe County,Florida,pursuant to the provisions of
Chapters 129 and 200, Florida Statutes,did conduct a Public Hearing on September 3,2020,at 5:05 p.m. via
Communications Media Technology("CMT)using a Zoom Webinar platform,to amend and adopt a
Tentative Millage Rate for each district for Fiscal Year 2021,now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA,that the following Millage Rates be adopted as the Tentative Millage Rates for Fiscal Year 2021,
and is hereby adopted as follows:
County Commissioners 2.5781
General Purpose MSTU 0.1725
Local Road Patrol Law Enforcement Dist. 0.3484
Lower and Middle Keys Fire&Amb.Dist. I 2.0489
Middle Keys Health Care MSTU 0.5000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the aggregate millage rate be adopted as the
Tentative Aggregate Millage Rate is 3.3435 for Fiscal Year 2021 which is higher than the rolled-back
millage rate of 3.2227 by 3.75%.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida,at a
meeting of said Board held on the 3`d day of September,AD 2020.
