SUBJECT: Special Roads Workshop Meeting
Please be advised that I am calling a Special BOCC Roads Workshop Meeting to be held on Wednesday,
November 18, 2020 at 9:00 AM. Since this will be a workshop meeting with no final action taken, the
Board will be meeting using Communications Media Technology (i.e. Zoom)pursuant to the authority of
chapter 2017-214, Laws of Florida and BOCC Resolution 299-2017.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive a presentation of the methodology proposed for the initial ranking
of the County-maintained roads under the countywide Roadway Vulnerability Analysis and Capitol
project and to discuss funding for future Sea Level Rise projects.

The November 18, 2020 Special Roads Meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, FL will be conducted via Communication Media Technology ("CMT") using a Zoom Webinar
platform. The meeting will commence at 9:00 A.M. Below are the various options available to the
public to view the live meeting and/or to make public comments on certain agenda items during the
public portion of the meeting.
The public is strongly encouraged to watch the meeting on Monroe County's MCTV on Comcast
Channel 76 or AT&T UVerse Channel 99. Also, if a citizen has a Roku device,they can search for and
add "MCTV" to their personal lineup. Monroe County's "MCTV" is also provided via the Monroe
County mobile apps for iOS and Android and through our streaming web portal @ https://monroe-
fl.vod.castus.tvfvod/?live=chl&nav=live. Citizens can listen to audio only from their phone by
dialing (646) 518-9805 or (669) 900-6833 and, when prompted, enter the Webinar ID# 917 2317
6202 followed by the# key.
The public can watch the Zoom webinar on the County's web portal,as done prior to COVED-19, by
visiting the County's meeting portal @ Is://monroecountvfl.igm2.com/Citizens/Default.asDx and
selecting the "Watch Live" banner. This option allows you to view the live meeting with live closed
captioning on an integrated page that includes the agenda and agenda backup.
The public can comment on a particular item(s) on the public portion of the agenda either by
phoning in or using the live Zoom webinar link(see instructions for each option below).

A person may submit written comments or other physical evidence on a particular agenda item for
