Since that time she has been employed in the Management Services Division, starting in the Employee Benefits Section and then moving into the Workers' Compensation Department in 1997. The Workers' Compensations Section is very small and Tammie is a important factor in the success of its operation. She works with all departments and all Constitutional Officers in authorizing medical treatment for injured workers. The Workers' Compensation Laws are very complex and involve many critical deadlines for delivery of services and she meets those deadlines in a very professional manner. Tammie comes to the office every day with a good attitude and is a pleasure to work around due to her willingness to assume more than is expected of her. She expresses a genuine interest in all aspects of workers' compensation and in learning all aspects of Human Resources. She is an asset to the County.
