ITEM BACKGROUND:
This budget amendment will appropriate $221,356.35 in unbudgeted fund balance forward. This is
needed in order to use all available funds to payoff this debt.
PREVIOUS REVELANT BOCC ACTION:
At the March 20, 2002 meeting the board gave approval to advertise this budget amendment.

WHEREAS, it is necessary to conduct a public hearing as required by section 129.03, Florida Statutes, to amend the
Monroe County 93 Refunding Improvement Bonds 1988, Fund #203 for the fiscal year ending September 30,2002,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that a
Public Hearing was conducted on April 17, 2002, at 5 :05 p.m. to amend the 93 Refunding Improvement Bonds
1988, Fund #203 budget and to adopt an amended budget as follows:
