AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Approval of an amendment to the Camp, Dresser, and McKee (CDM) contract to provide services for
stormwater project implementation related to the Stormwater Management Master Plan (SMMP).
ITEM BACKGROUND:
CDM completed work on the Stormwater Management Master Plan and the Board adopted the Plan in
June of 200 1. Staff suggests continuing to use CDM to provide services for the implementation of the
Plan. Specifically, CDM will review existing County facilities and make recommendations for
bringing them up to standard; they will assist the County in revising it stormwater ordinances and
stormwater permit review practices in consideration of recommendations made in the SMMP; and
CDM will provide instruction to County staff for better review of storm water projects in the future.

August 1999 - Approval of CDM contract
June 2001 - Adoption of completed Stormwater Management Master Plan (SMMP)
