AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Authorization for Yoga by the Sea to modify their agreement for the use of the Higgs Beach platform.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Yoga by the Sea received BOCC approval to use the platform at Higgs Beach since June 14, 2000.
Proposal to extend their hours of operation and days per week due to student requests and to modifY
their payment to BOCC to a flat monthly fee.
PREVIOUS REVELANT BOCC ACTION:
On June 14, 2000, the BOCC granted authorization for Yoga by the Sea to utilize the platform at Higgs
Beach.
CONTRACT/AGREEMENT CHANGES:
To change from Seven (7) classes per week to Eleven (11) classes per week (and) from One and One-
Half(1 ~) hours per session to Two (2) hours per session, and from Ten Dollars ($10.00) per session
payable to BOCC, to a flat fee of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) per month payable to BOCC.

Summary for the April 17 & 18, 2002, BOCC, please review the following:
Yoga by the Sea's current schedule:
. Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
. Monday thru Friday, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
. Equaling: Seven (7) classes per week, weather permitting.
. Fee paid to BOCC: $10.00 per session, with an average of $240.00 paid to BOCC per
month.
Yoga by the Sea's oroposedschedule:
. Monday thru Saturday, 8:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m.
. Monday thru Friday, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
. Equaling: Eleven (11) classes per week. (Allowing for at least One [1] cancelled class
per week because of our usual rainy weather).
. Four-Hundred ($400.00) Dollars monthly Flat Fee payable to BOCC.
