ITEM BACKGROUND: The Marine Projects Coordinator submitted a request to add
additional vessels to this years Grant Agreement. F.W.C.C. awarded Monroe County
an additional $83,600.

Derelict Vessel Removal Grant Program. After you have reviewed and understand the terms
and conditions of the project Amendment, please have the person authorized to sign all three
Amendments, complete, and return to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission,
Division of Law Enforcement.
After all three original Amendments have been received by this office, the Amendments
will be processed for execution and one original Amendment will be returned to your
department.
Please note that your deadline for completion of work under this Amendment to the

AMENDMENT NUMBER TWO TO THE AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into by and between the FLORIDA FISH
AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMISSION ("COMMISSION"), and MONROE COUNTY
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ("GRANTEE"), and amends that Agreement entered
into between the COMMISSION and the GRANTEE on November 19,2001 and amended on
April 1 , 2002, hereinafter referred to as the "ORIGINAL AGREEMENr.
In consideration of the mutual covenants and conditions set forth herein and in the
ORIGINAL AGREEMENT, the parties agree to amend the ORIGINAL AGREEMENT as follows,
which amendments shall govern to the exclusion of any provision of the ORIGINAL AGREEMENT
to the contrary:
1. Paragraph 3.a. is hereby revised to increase the cost reimbursement not-to-exceed
amount from $234,700.00 to $318,300.00, an increase of $83,600.00.
2. The Grantee is hereby authorized to remove and dispose of the additional vessels
listed on Attachment A-2.
3. Attachment A is hereby revised to include Attachment A-2, attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
4. Attachment B, Exhibit 1, is hereby revised to increase the amount of the grant from
from $234,700.00 to $318,300.00.
All provisions of the ORIGINAL AGREEMENT not specifically amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
on the date and year last written below.
