AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to advertise Request for Qualifications (RFQs) for
Airport Consultant Services (Financial, General and Air Service Development) for the Key West
International Airport and the Florida Keys Marathon International Airport.
ITEM BACKGROUND: Under FAA guidelines, airports have to place Airport Consultant
Services out to bid approximately every five years. The most recent RFQ process was done in 2016-
2017.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: On February 15, 2017, the BOCC approved Master
Agreements for General Engineering Consulting Services and for Financial Consulting Services, and
on July 19, 2017, the BOCC approved the Master Agreement for Air Service Development.
