ITEM BACKGROUND: Cendant, parent company of Budget, has requested revisions to the amendment to the Budget
Rent A Car Concession Agreement, approved by the Board, 2/18/04. The current Budget agreement expires, 4/20/04.

RE; Key West Airport Budget & Avis Agreements
Dear Mr. Horton,
As discussed I am requesting that the fOllowing changes be made in the Avis & Budget
documents;
~
1. Please allow at least 24 months for the completion of any and all
improvements to the Avis facility.
2. Please insert language into the agreement which will permit Avis to use its
facility to service, store and park Avis vehicles as well as Budget rent a car
vehicles.
Budaet
1. Please insert language Which will permit Budget to terminate its agreement at
any time for any reason upon 180 days written notice to the airport.
2. If permitted please add language stating that in the event any. new or
additional car rental concessions are added to the airport that they will be on
the same terms and conditions as the Budget deal.
