bus by piggy backing to the FDOT FVPP-03-SC-IFlorida Procurement Program.
ITEM BACKGROUND: The approved FY 2005 Budget provided for the purchase of one
bus using County funds. Transportation budgets are prepared based on an ageing Oeet
where older buses are replaced when they become more costly to maintain than replacing
with newer buses.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: The previously approved FY 2005
Transportation Program Budget by the BOCC.

STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approval to issue a purchase order to buy one (1)
transportation bus using the FY 2005 Budgeted funds. This may require a rollover for
those current year funds into the FY 2006 Budget if delivery of the buses is not guaranteed
by September 30, 2005.
