obtain reimbursement of insurance for Lower Keys Animal Shelter.
ITEM BACKGROUND: The Florida Keys Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
(FKSPCA) is required to carry BuildingIFlood coverage as stated in their contract and list Monroe
County Board of Commissioners as Additional Insured. FKSPCA experienced insured damaged
personal property during Hurricane Wilma. The buildings were also damaged. The insurance company
is prepared to issue two checks to both insured. The FKSPCA will receive the payment for personal
property and the County will receive the payment for real property.
