AGENDA ITEM WORDING: BOCC approval to dispose of one surplus vehicle to be cut up for
vehicle extrication training purposes at the Training Academy.
ITEM BACKGROUND: MCFR is seeking Board approval to dispose of one vehicle which will be
cut up in support of extrication training at the Training Academy as per the attached Monroe County
Inventory Deletion Request Form Disposal.
The Purchasing Policy states that the Board of County Commissioners shall approve the disposal of
items that have been deemed to be surplus. The item on the list has no salvage value. Once disposalis
approved, the item will be removed from the Fixed Asset Inventory List.
