*Note: During the February BOCC Meeting the BOCC approved this action, but after the signed Agreement was sent to
ATT they discovered that we been provided with an incorrect document and requested that we sign their
reviseddocument. The revised document is attached.
The Service Agreement for the TDC’s current long distance phone provider, AT&T is scheduled to
expire in February 2022. The service primarily provides for routing and handling of our advertised 1-
800 visitor information phone lines, as well as our administrative office.
AT&T has provided excellent service to the TDC throughout their Agreement. We have been
satisfied with their responsiveness and professionalism.
The TDC requires an advanced and complex routing system to properly service its 1-800 visitor
information phone lines. AT&T’s technology is uniquely posed to meet our needs and has more than
provided all necessary functionality.
Given AT&T’s excellent service of our account, its ability to provide technology which meets our
advanced routing needs and our desire to avoid disruption to our 1-800 visitor information phone
lines, staff recommends approval of the attached Amendment to Agreement with AT&T to extend our
current Agreement for three (3) additional years to February 2025. There will be no increase to cost
for this service.
