Approval to close fund 405 KW AIP Series 2006 Bonds, and approval to instruct the Clerk of Court to
transfer residual funds to the Key West Int'l Airport Fund 404 and Passenger Facility Chg Fund 406.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Bonds were issued for the capital improvements of the Key West International Airport. The project has
been completed for several years, however approximately $1,849,307 (PFC), and $2,558,706 (Bond
Proceeds) remains in the fund. At the last GAP meeting, it was discussed that $180,000 from the
Sinking Fund will be made available to complete the Baggage Claim Hall Renovation (KWIA
Arrivals/Bag Belt FAA#037-44) and $50,000 going to Marathon for painting of Rwy 7/25.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
The Board previously adopted resolution no. 238A-2006 on June 21, 2006 to provide for the issuance
of bonds.

Peter just informed me that Tina is working on the process of obtaining the Sinking Funds as discussed
at the last GAP Meeting. $180,000 available with $50,000 going to Marathon. KWIA will need additional
funds to complete the Baggage Claim Hall Renovation (Arrivals Area) project GAKA152.
Tina,
Please provide status update as to how the funds are obtained and available for use by Marathon and
KWIA.The Arrivals Area Project is coming to completion soon.
