A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE MIL RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023
WHEREAS,the Board of County Comm iss ioners,Monroe Courity, Florida,pursuant,to flio.,;provisions of
Ctiapters 129 and 200,Florida Statutes,did conduct a Public Hearing on September 12,2022,at 5.05 p.m.
via Communications Media Techinolog gy("CMT") in a Zoom Webinar platform,to amend and adopt a
"Fentative IlAillage Rate for each district for Fiscal Year 2023,now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COlJNTY COMMISSIONERS,MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA,that the following Millage Rates be adopted as the Tentative Millal,;,e Rates for Fiscal Year 2023,
and is hereby adopted as follows:
Courity Cornmissioners, 15218
General Purpose MSTtJ 0.1626
Local Road Patrol Law Enforcement Dist. 0.3201
Lower and Middle Keys Fire&Amb. Dist. 1 1.8330
Middle Keys Health Care MSIIJ 0,5000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the aggregate mill age rate be adopted as the
Tentative Agp. gregate Millage Rate is 3.2326 for Fiscal Year 2023 which is higher than the rolled-back
millage rate of 2.9393 by 9.98%
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,Florida,at a
rneeting,of said Board held on,the 12'h day of September,AD 2022.
