A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE
TENTATIVE RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE
COLLECTION,DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
RATES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The Board hereby adopts the following tentative rates for Collection of
Residential Solid Waste:
1. For each single family home - $220.58 per annum;
2. For each mobile home- $220.58 per annum;
3. For each multi-family unit- $220.58 per annum.
Section 2. The Board hereby adopts the following tentative rates for Disposal of Residential
Solid Waste:
1. For each single family home - $177.43 per annum;
2. For each mobile home- $177.43 per annum;
3. For each multi-family unit- $177.43 per annum.
Section 3. The Board hereby adopts the following tentative rates for Recycling of
Residential Solid Waste:
1. For each single family home - $59.14 per annum;
2. For each mobile home- $59.14 per annum;
3. For each multi-family unit- $59.14 per annum.
Section 4. The Board hereby adopts the following tentative rates for Fiscal year 2023-2024:
1. For each single family home - $457.15 per annum;
2. For each mobile home- $457.15 per annum;
3. For each multi-family unit- $457.15 per annum.
Section 5. The Board hereby directs the Monroe County Clerk to transmit this
executed Resolution to the Monroe County Property Appraiser and Monroe County Tax
Collector.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida,
at a meeting of said Board held on the 17'h day of May 2023.
