appointment of the selected Division Director for the Growth Management Division.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
The position of Division Director of Growth Management became vacant in September due to the
former Division Director resigning. The job posting closed on September 30, 2009 and the selection
committee held a meeting on October 7, 2009. Florida Statue 123.74(1)(k) requires BOCC
confirmation of department head appointments made by the County Administrator.
