AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Discussion and approval for the Affordable Housing Advisory
Committee (AHAC) to meet four times per year.
ITEM BACKGROUND: At the July 16, 2009 AHAC meeting, the committee requested that
pursuant to Resolution 062-2009 approved at the February 18, 2009 BOCC meeting, the BOCC allow
the number of meetings to increase from one to four.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
May 15, 2005 — BOCC established the Workforce Housing Task Force
May 21, 2008 — Ordinance 014-2008 established the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
(AHAC)
June 18, 2008 — Resolution 125-2008 appointed 11 members to AHAC
February 18, 2009 — Resolution 062-2009 defined how members shall be appointed, length of term and
number of meetings.
