RESOLUTION NO. 240 -1989
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, OPPOSING
THE PASSAGE OF HB 599 RELATING TO CREATION
OF THE UNIFORM SPECIAL DISTRICT ACCOUNTABIL-
ITY ACT OF 1989.
WHEREAS, HB 599, relating to creation of the Uniform Special
District Accountability Act of 1989, has been proposed, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, feels that it is not in the best interest of the people
of the County that this bill be passed, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board hereby opposes the passage
of HB 599 relating to creation of the Uniform Special District
Accountability Act of 1989.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board is hereby
directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Monroe County Legislative Delegation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of the Board held on
the 28th day of April, 1989.
