A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT THE
PROPOSAL FROM FLORIDA KEYS MEMORIAL
HOSPITAL CONCERNING FOOD SERVICE TO
BAYSHORE MANOR RESIDENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor/Chairman of the Board
is hereby authorized to accept the proposal from Florida Keys
Memorial Hospital of $4.09 per meal to Bayshore Manor, effective
April 1, 1989, a copy of same being attached hereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held

Proposals for Food Services for Bayshore Manor
Please be advised that I requested proposals from Food Services
Management Systems of Florida, DePoo Hospital, and Florida Keys
Memorial Hospital, for handling food services for Bayshore Manor.
We received only one (1) proposal, from Florida Keys Memorial
Hospital. The other two vendors do not want to submit any propos-
als at this time.
Please see the attached proposal from Florida Keys Memorial Hospi-
tal. I'm recommending that the Board of County Commission accept
the proposal of $4.09 per meal to Bayshore Manor, effective April
1, 1989. Please have the Commissioners direct the County Attor-
ney's office to develop a contract between the Board of County
Commissioners and Florida Keys Memorial Hospital for the next
meeting.
Please have this item placed on the next County Commission meet-
ing.

Dear Louie:
As a follow-up to our recent discussion concerning the
continuation of food services for Bayshore Manor, Florida
Keys Memorial Hospital submits the fololowing proposal.
For a charge of $4.09,per meal, we will continue to prepare
and deliver three meals per day to Bayshore Manor. If you
would like us to add condiments, to include coffee, tea,
sugar, Sweet & Low, salt and pepper, the cost will be $4.64
per meal.
After you have had a chance to review this proposal, please
do not hesitate to contact Mr. Larry Carver, hospital
controller, in my absence. Thank you for giving us the
opportunity to bid on the continuation of this service.
Enclosed, per your request, is a copy of the menus for April
30 to June 3.
