Resolution 605-1989
RESOLUTION NO. 605 -1989
WHEREAS, the members of the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, have elected a new Chairman for said
Board, and
WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners
must sign all legal papers, vouchers, warrants and documents on
behalf of the County, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That Commissioner John Stormont as Chairman of the Board
of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, and the Clerk
of said Board, are hereby authorized to sign all warrants, legal
documents and any other necessary papers and documents.
2. That the presently authorized signatures validating
County checks are hereby continued for thirty days from this date
in order to meet payroll and other necessary obligations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the 1st day
of November, A.D. 1989.
