RESOLUTION NO. 797 -1989
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR/CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN
ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND
STUART NEWMAN ASSOCIATES TO INCREASE COMPENSATION
BY $16,500.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor/Chairman of the Board is
hereby authorized to execute an Addendum to Agreement between
Monroe County and Stuart Newman Associates, a copy of same being
attached hereto and made a part hereof, to increase compensation
by $16,500 for (1) coordination, supervision office production of
district programs $9,000 and (2) United Kingdom public
relations coordination and monitoring - $7,500.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held

ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT
THIS ADDENDUM to agreement is entered into this 13th day
of
December
, 1989, in order to amend the agreement dated
August 8, 1986, as amended, and extended through September 30,
1990, between Monroe County and Stuart Newman Associates.
1. The first sentence of Paragraph 3 of the agreement
dated August 8, 1986, is amended to read as follows:
3. Compensation. It is agreed that total
costs of staff and contract services to include
an account supervisor, account executive, staff
and freelance writers, public relations media
coordinator, and various clerical services will
be One Hundred Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred
($116,500) Dollars; in addition to the One
Hundred Thousand ($100,000) Dollar fee set
out in the August 8, 1986, contract the additional
Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred ($16,500) Dollars
represents the following:
1) Coordination, supervision office production
of district programs
- $9,000
2) United Kingdom public relations coordination
and monitoring
- $7,500
(subject to conclusion of contractual terms thereof).
In all other respects, the agreement dated August 8, 1986,
as amended shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this addendum
to agreement.
