RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, WITHOUT PREJUDICE, AND DENYING THE
REQUEST OF KAREN PARDUE TO REVERSE THE
DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, WHICH OVERTURNED THE
DECISION OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT IN
ISSUING PERMIT #B9507 AND CANCELLED SAID
PERMIT PURSUANT TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL
OF JACKIE C. KING.
WHEREAS, on September 20, 1985, the Board of Adjustment of
Monroe County, Florida, overturned the decision of the Building
Department in issuing permit #B9507 and cancelled said permit
pursuant to the administrative appeal of Jackie C. King for the
following described property:
Lots 3-6 and 11-14, Block D, Crains Subdivision, Grassy
Key. Located in Section 24, Township 65 South, Range
33 East.
WHEREAS, Karen Pardue has duly appealed said decision to the
Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, sitting
as the Board of Appeals, and the Board having reviewed the
transcript of the September 20, 1985 hearing, having considered
the argument of all parties present wishing to speak on the
matter, and all premises considered, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as
follows:
1. That the September 20, 1985, decision of the Board of
Adjustment of Monroe County, Florida, overturning the decision of
the Building Department in issuing permit #B9507 and cancelling
said permit pursuant to the Administrative Appeal of Jackie C.
King for the above described property, be, and the same is hereby
upheld.
2. That said Karen Pardue be, and she is hereby denied a
reversal of the decision of the Board of Adjustment of Monroe
County, Florida, overturing the decision of the Building Depart-
ment in issuing permit #B9507 and cancelling said permit pursuant
to the Administrative Appeal of Jackie C. King for the
above-described property.
3. That the Clerk is hereby directed to make available to
the Field Representative of the Department of Community Affairs a
certified copy of this resolution by certified mail to said Field
Representative, Post Office Box 990, Key West, Florida 33041,
return receipt requested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, sitting as the Board of Appeals, at a
regular meeting of said Board held on the 19th day of February
A.D. 1986.
