RESOLUTION NO. 075 -1986
A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE POSTING OF A FIVE
THOUSAND DOLLAR ($5,000) BOND FOR CLEANUP
PURPOSES, WHICH SHALL APPLY TO ALL CARNIVALS
AND OPEN-AIR TRANSIENT PUBLIC ATTRACTIONS IN
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, there have been instances where carnivals and other
transient public attractions have been permitted in Monroe
County, Florida, and they have departed the County without having
performed the necessary cleanup operations for their activities,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that all professional for profit carnivals and
other like transient public attractions or property owners where
such attractions are located shall be required to post with
Monroe County, Florida, a bond in the sum of Five Thousand
Dollars ($5,000) as a condition to being permitted to engaged in
such attractions. This bond shall be for the purpose of insuring
Monroe County that all the debris and unsightly residue of said
attraction shall be cleaned and the property restored to its
former condition before said attraction took place.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 7th day of
