A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BY
AND BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND
SOUTHERNMOST PEST CONTROL, INC. FOR PEST
CONTROL SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1.
That the contract by and between Monroe
County, Florida and Southernmost Pest Control, Inc., a copy of
which is attached hereto, is hereby approved.
Section 2.
That the Mayor and Chairman of the Board of
County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby au-
thorized to execute said agreement by and between Monroe County,
Florida and Southernmost Pest Control, Inc. for pest control
services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made this
day of
, 1987,
by and between MONROE COUNTY, Florida, a political subdivision of
the State of Florida, hereinafter called the Party of the First
Part, and SOUTHERNMOST PEST CONTROL, INC., hereinafter called the
Party of the Second Part.
WIT N E SSE T H:
That the Parties hereto for the consideration hereinafter
named agrees as follows:
1. That the Party of the Second Part shall provide pest
control service for the treatment of roaches, ants, rats, mice,
and other connnon pests for the buildings listed herein on a
regular monthly basis.
2.
The buildings to be treated under this contract are:
Monroe County Animal Shelter
Bayshore Manor
Monroe County Health Clinic
Monroe County Public Service Building
Old Armory Building
Monroe County Attorney's Office
State Attorney's Office
Monroe County Courthouse
Monroe County Supervisor of Elections' Office
Monroe County Evidence Vault
Monroe County Sheriff's Department - 3rd and 4th Floors
3. Any extra services required under this agreement to
render the stated buildings free of pests will be rendered at no
additional charge.
4. The Party of the First Part agrees to compensate the
Party of the Second Part at a rate of $300.00 per month for the
term of this agreement.
5. The Party of the Second Part hereby agrees to hold the
Party of the First Part harmless for any claims or damages
whatsoever arising out of the activities contemplated herein.
6. The term of this agreement shall be for a one year
period beginning on the

agreement may be renewed for a period of one additional year by
either party hereto by giving 30 days notice in writing of their
intention to renew.
