Resolution 292-1987 Monroe County Commission RESOLUTION NO. 29.2-1987 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COmlIS- SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZ- ING THE MAYOR AND CHAIRMAN OF SAID BOARD TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF KEY COLONY BEACH AND MONROE COUNTY, IN RE: THE PREPARATION OF AN IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE CONCERNING NEW DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY OF KEY COLONY BEACH. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board hereby authorizes the Mayor and Chairman of said Board to execute an Interlocal Agreement by and between the City of Key Colony Beach and Monroe County, a copy of same being attached hereto, in re: the preparation of an impact fee ordinance concerning new development in the City of Key Colony Beach. INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE-KCB Pursuant to the authority granted by Chapter 380.05(21) in order that the City may bring its Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulation into conformance with and to implement Rule 27F-8 and Rule 28-21, Florida Administrative Code, and pursuant to Florida Statute 163.01, the City of Key Colony Beach, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called the City, and Monroe County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, hereinafter called the County, hereby covenant and agree as follows: 1. The City shall coordinate with Monroe County to prepare an impact fee ordinance for consideration by the City Commission so as to ensure that new development in the City provides its fair share to the cost of expanding the public facilities that the City receives from the County. 2. The County shall cooperate with the City in achieving the coordination described above and, when necessary for the purpose of coordination shall incorporate appropriate policy changes into its Comprehensive Land Use Plan or County Land Development Regulations. This Agreement shall' take effect when executed by the parties described above and a copy hereof is filed with the Clerk of the City of Key Colony Beach, Florida.
