RESOLUTION NO. 340-1987
A RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF
ROBERT HERMAN, BUILDING OFFICIAL, AND DENYING
THE APPEAL OF DOUGLAS P. HOTALEN, WITHOUT
PREJUDICE, CONCERNING PERMIT NO. A-18487
ISSUED TO LLOYD A. GOOD, JR. FOR AN 80-UNIT
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK AT MM 14.5.
WHEREAS, Robert Herman, Building Official, issued Permit No.
A-18487 to Lloyd A. Good, Jr. for an 80-Unit Recreational Vehicle
Park at MM 14.5, and
WHEREAS, Douglas P. Hotalen has duly appealed said decision
to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida,
sitting as the Board of Appeals, and the Board having considered
the argument of all parties present wishing to speak on the
matter, and all premises considered, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS,' as
follows:
1. That decision of Robert Herman, Building Official, in
issuing Permit No. A-18487 to Lloyd A. Good, Jr. for the
above-described property, be, and the same is hereby upheld.
2. That Douglas P. Hotalen be, and he is hereby denied an
appeal of the decision of Robert Herman, Building Official, in
issuing Permit No. A-18487 for the above-described property.
3. That the Clerk is hereby directed to make available to
the Field Representative of the Department of Community Affairs a
certified copy of this resolution by certified mail to said Field
Representative, Post Office Box 990, Key West, Florida 33041,
return receipt requested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, sitting as the Board of Appeals, at a
regular meeting of said Board held on the 1st day of September,
A.D. 1987.
