RESOLUTION NO. 504-1987
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF A
CALLING FOR REFERENDUM FOR THE MARCH 8, 1988
PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION FOR THREE
ORDINANCES CREATING MONROE COUNTY TRAUMA
HEALTH CARE DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, unique and distinct areas of Monroe County exist
with differing degrees and needs concerning health and trauma
care, and
WHEREAS, local Monroe County hospitals offer varying degrees
of ability to serve residents of their respective areas
concerning health and trauma care, and
WHEREAS, Monroe County desires to enhance such facilities
and care offerings to the residents and visitors of the area
served by such hospital by proposing three ordinances

Monroe County Trauma Health Care Districts, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires the
advertisement of a calling for referendum for the March 8, 1988
Presidential Primary Election for the three ordinance creating
Monroe County Trauma Health Care Districts; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board hereby authorizes the
advertisement of a calling for referendum for the March 8, 1988
Presidential Primary Election for three ordinances creating
Monroe County Trauma Health Care Districts.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 29th day of December, A.D. 1987.
