RESOLUTION NO. 082-1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE MONROE COUNTY COMMISSION
PERTAINING TO SUNSET WATERSPORTS, INC. AND
REQUIRING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND SUNSET WATERSPORTS,
INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1.
In that Sunset Watersports, Inc. has exceeded
the terms of its lease agreement with Monroe County, Florida,
the County Commission does hereby recognize the existence of the
decking or platform around Sunset Watersports, Inc. head-
quarters (ticket booth) on Higgs Beach, and an application for
the same, as an after-the-fact permit, shall be issued within ten
(10) days and be in direct conformity with the use of said
after-the-fact permitted structure.
Section 2.
The Lease Agreement between Monroe County and
Sunset Watersports, Inc. shall be amended to bring it into
compliance to recognize the said after-the-fact permitted
structure, to clarify the specific use of the beach area in which
after-the-fact permitted structure is located, and to require
that the ticket booth shall be used in conformity with, and shall
not exceed, those uses and activities covered by the original
Lease Agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 2nd day of February, A.D. 1988.
