RESOLUTION NO. 173 -1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REQUESTING
THE MONROE COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
TO CONSIDER EXPENSES PROVIDED TO SPECIAL
EVENTS FOR FUNDING FROM SPECIAL EVENTS
APPROPRIATIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the Board hereby requests the Monroe County Tourist
Development Council to consider expenses such as crowd, traffic
and ambulance services provided to special events such as the
Seven-Mile Bridge Run and the Marathon Off-Shore Powerboat Race
for funding;
said funding to come from special events
appropriations.
2. That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Monroe County Tourist Development
Council, P.O. Box 866, Key West, Florida 33041.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a special meeting of the Board held on
the 14th day of April, A.D. 1988.
