RESOLUTION NO. 177 -1988
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR/CHAIRMAN
OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND
BECKMEYER, MULICK & WOLKOWSKY, ATTORNEYS AT
LAW, PERTAINING TO PART-TIME LEGAL ASSISTANCE
TO MONROE COUNTY FOR FY87-88.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board hereby authorizes the
Mayor/Chairman of the Board to execute an Agreement by and
between the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, and Beckmeyer, Mulick & Wolkowsky, Attorneys at Law, a
copy of which is attached hereto, pertaining to part-time legal
assistance to Monroe County for FY87-88.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 19th day of April, A. D. 1988.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this day of
A.D. 1988, by and between the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, party of the first part, and BECKMEYER,
MULICK & WOLKOWSKY, attorneys at law, party of the second part,
whose mailing address is 88539 Overseas Highway, Tavernier,
Florida 33070.
WIT N E SSE T H:
WHEREAS, the County Attorney's Office desires to employ
BECKMEYER, MULICK & WOLKOWSKY in the Upper Keys commencing on
October 1, 1987, and to continue through the fiscal year 1987-88,
until September 30, 1988, for a period of one (1) year, and
WHEREAS, the agreed compensation for said part-time attorney
for the County of Monroe, shall be at the rate of $15,000.00 for
up to 200 hours in said 12-month period, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT AGREED by the parties hereto as follows:
1. That the party of the second part will render part-time
legal assistance to Monroe County, commencing October 1, 1987,
based on this Contract for a term to conclude September 30, 1988.
2. That the terms and conditions of this Contract are as
follows:
Monroe County shall pay BECKMEYER, MULICK & WOLKOWSKY
the sum of $15,000.00 for his services in said 12-month
period Said sum shall be paid in equal monthly
installments of $1,250.00 beginning October 1, 1987,
and continuing monthly thereafter until paid in full.
In exchange for said payment, BECKMEYER, MULICK &
WOLKOWSKY will provide up to 200 hours of legal
services.
3. That the work and services to be rendered by the
aforesaid party of the second part shall be at the direction of
the County Attorney and an accurate time sheet shall be kept by
the party of the second part concerning said representation and
activity.

4. That this Contract may be terminated at any time by
these parties based on mutual agreement to do so. If notifica-
tion of termination is given, it shall be effective on the 1st
day of the month following said notification.
