A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUN'l Y CGlvl-:ES-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING
GRANT AWARDS FROM THE SOUTH FLORIDA EMPLOY-
HENT AUD TRAINING CONSORTIUM AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOJ.{ AND CIIAIRl1AN OF THE BOARD OF COUNT'\:
COMMISSIONERS OF NOi-iROE COU~!TY, FLORIDA, AND
THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN AND EXECUTE
ALL CONTRACT AGREEMENTS FOR F. Y. 1988/1989
J . T . P . A. ACTIVITIES.
WHEREAS, Nonroe County is a participating member of the
South Florida Employment and Training Consortium for the Service
Delivery (S.D.A.) Area of Dade and Monroe County.
WHEREAS, Monroe County has been awarded contracts for
J. T. P. A. 1..:"<11,[;On, intake and Job Placement Activities for a
perioo of one year in the total amount of $117,800 for all
activities.
WHEREAS, Monroe County continues to desire to participate in
the Job Training Partnership Act, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOAJ.{D OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
110NROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and Chairman of thE Be .::r(l
or COUl1ty COJl:lI']ission.ers of Monroe County, Florida, and the County
Administrator are hereby directed and authorized to sign all
J. T. P .A. grant awards and contract agreements with the South
Florida Employment and Training COllsortium for fiscal year
1988/l9G9.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Connty Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 19th day of July, A.D. 1988.
