RESOLUTION NO. 373 -1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISH-
ING CONSISTENCY IN THE EXECUTION DATING OF
MONROE COUNTY CONTRACTS.
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Monroe County and
the County Attorney have called to the attention of the Board of
County Commissioners the fact that contracts being executed by
the Board have been inconsistently dated in that some of the
contracts come to the Board already dated before Monroe County
has, in fact, executed the contract; and
WHEREAS, some of the contracts are dated the day and month
Monroe County authorizes their execution and that further some of
the contracts are dated the date that the Mayor executes the
contract on behalf of the County; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to have a consistent
custom with respect to the dating of contracts; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that all contracts executed on behalf of
Monroe County shall be dated on the date that the Board of County
Commissioners of Monroe County authorizes their execution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
