RESOLUTION NO. 160 -1987
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COMMISSIONER PUTO TO
NEGOTIATE ON BEHALF OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, WITH ANY AVAILABLE HOSPITALS FOR THE
PROVISION OF TRAUMA CARE FOR THE CITIZENS OF
THE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, there is a pressing need to make trauma care
available to the citizens of Monroe County; and
WHEREAS, it is desirous to have a representative of the
Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County to contact hos-
pitals concerning the availability of such trauma care; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
That Commissioner Mike Puto is hereby authorized to contact
any hospitals with trauma facilities concerning their willingness
and availability to provide trauma services to the citizens of
Monroe County and negotiate with them for the provision of such
services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 7th day of April, A. D. 1987.
