RESOLUTION NO. 124-1985
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING
TO THE UTILIZATION OF SUBSTANDARD AND NON-
CONFORMING RU-3 LOTS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, hereby recognizes the need to alleviate hardships
incurred by the general public in utilizing substandard and non-
conforming RU-lots, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, as follows:
1. That as a matter of policy, the Board hereby directs the
Planning and Zoning Department to permit in RU-3 districts any
residential use permitted in RU-1 and RU-2 districts, provided,
however, that the lot and building requirements of Sections
19-141, 19-194 and 19-196 of the Monroe County Code shall then
become applicable for RU-1 and RU-2 uses; to include RU-1 use at
a minimum, regardless of lot size.
2. The Board further directs the County Attorney to prepare
ordinance changes to reflect the above intent.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 12th day of April, A.D. 1985.
