RESOLUTION NO. 228 -1985
A RESOLUTION RENAMING STREET
IN BIG COPPITT SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, has been requested by certain property owners owning
property in Big Coppitt Subdivision, located in Section 22,
Township 67 South, Range 26 East, Big Coppitt Trailer Park, Big
Coppitt Key, Florida, to rename a street in said subdivision
known as "Gulf Drive" to "Ed Swift Road," now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the street named "Gulf Drive" in Big
Coppitt Trailer Park located in Section 22, Township 67 South,
Range 26 East, Big Coppitt Key, Monroe County, Florida, is hereby
renamed "Ed Swift Road."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby instructed to forward certified copies
of this resolution to the Monroe County Property Appraiser; the
U.S. Postmaster of Big Coppitt Key, Monroe County, Florida; the
Sheriff's Department; the County Public Works Department; the
Monroe County Building, Planning and Zoning Department and to the
concerned ambulance and fire districts.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 2nd day of August, A.D. 1985.
