RESOLUTION NO. 242-1985
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRACT ENTITLED
PURCHASE OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BETWEEN
MONROE COUNTY AND SOUTH FLORIDA EMPLOYMENT
AND TRAINING CONSORTIUM FOR JULY 1, 1985,
THROUGH JUNE 30, 1986.
WHEREAS, the Contract for Professional Services for the
Fiscal Year July 1, 1985, through June 30, 1986, has been pre-
sented to the Monroe County Commission, and
WHEREAS, said Contract is necessary for the purpose of
compensating the J.T.P.A. administrative personnel of Monroe
County, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Contract dated August 16, 1985,
by and between the South Florida Employment and Training
Consortium and Monroe County be and the same is hereby approved.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 16th day of August, A.D. 1985.

PURCHASE OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made the 16th day of August in
the year 1985 by and between the South Florida Employment &
Training Consortium, by its Executive Director, and the County of
Monroe, by its County Administrator is hereby authorized for
services as stated herein:
1) The County of Monroe shall provide liaison services as
described in the attached work plan; and
2) The South Florida Employment and Training Consortium shall
compensate the County for said services:
THE PARTIES hereto further agree to the following conditions:
1) The South Florida Employment and Training Consortium shall
provide adequate office space for the use of the Liaison
Office.
2) The County Administrator shall select and appoint the
Liaison Officer whose appointment shall be confirmed by a
majority of the Board of County Commissioners, Said Liaison
Officer shall be compensated by the County of Monroe and
subject to the County of Monroe's applicable merit system
and pay plan.
THIS AGREEMENT shall be in effect during the period July 1, 1985
through June 30, 1986, and shall provide for maximum compen-
sation, from the South Florida Employment and Training Consortium
to the County of Monroe of $60,000.00 ,

payable from Budget Code No, pursuant to the terms of
this agreement.
BEING DULY signed, the execution of this agreement is in confor-
mance with Resolution No. adopted by the South
Florida Employment & Training Consortium on the day of
