RESOLUTION NO. 309-1985
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND ELECTRONICS, MISSILES & COMMU-
NICATIONS, INC. FOR MODIFICATIONS TO THE WEST
SUMMERLAND AND ISLAMORADA FOUNDATIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Mayor and Chairman of the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby authorized to
execute an Agreement by and between Monroe County, Florida, and
Electronics, Missiles & Communications, Inc., a copy of same
being attached hereto, for modifications to the West Summerland
and Islamorada foundations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 1st day of November, A. D. 1985.

Dear Mr. Naubereit:
We are advised by Mr. Paul KensQn that modifications to the West
Summerland and Islamorada foundations will be required after all.
On the assumption that Monroe County decides that EMCEE handle
that portion of the project as well, we offer the following
propos al.

Please consider a separate contract for this work in order to
avoid further delays attendant to modifying our original proposal
(the original offer does not include the subject modification
costs).
Modification of West Summerland and Islamorada according to
drawings provided by Paul Kenson dated September 23, 1985.
Total for work to be performed by EMCE~ and
subcontractors; including concrete, EMCEE
field engineering, and preparation of
drawings.
$32,890.00
TERMS: 50% upon order
40% upon installation
10% upon compltion
Please note foundation analysis costs are covered by the main
contract.
This offer expires November 15, 1985.
Please indicate your acceptance of this p~oposal by executing the
