RESOLUTION NO. 196 -1984
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZ-
ING AND COMMENDING VIRGINIA PINDER FOR HER
PUBLIC SERVICE WITH MONROE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, VIRGINIA PINDER has been employed as a Deputy Clerk
in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Monroe
County, Florida, since July 30, 1974, and
WHEREAS, among MRS. PINDER's numerous duties as a Deputy
Clerk she also required to attend all County Commission meetings
in Key West, transcribe the minutes from all Commission meetings,
both regular and special, maintain files on all interlocal
agreements, contracts, leases, resolutions, ordinances and all
other documents reflecting the action of the Board of County
Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, she has faithfully served this County and the
Clerk's Office with diligence, devotion and expertise that is a
credit to herself as well as to Monroe County, and
WHEREAS, her presence and services will be greatly missed by
all upon her departure and relocation in another part of this
State, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
VIRGINIA PINDER is hereby commended for her contributions to
the County during her ten years as a dependable and outstanding
employee and is deserving of this public recognition for her
efforts.
The Board also wholeheartedly wishes her happiness and
success in her new home.
The Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners is hereby
directed to furnish VIRGINIA PINDER with a certified copy of this
resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 13th day of July, A.D. 1984.
